Our Services
1:1 Consulting Sessions
Are you a patient wanting help to work out your story, and get one to one support on your recovery? Take the opportunity to work with me to make that breakthrough.
If you’re living with persistent pain and feel stuck — despite doing everything you’ve been advised — you’re not alone.
Many people I work with have:
Tried multiple treatments
Been told there’s nothing structurally wrong
Started to feel frustrated, confused, or doubtful about their body
This service is for people who are open to a different way of understanding pain — one that looks beyond tissues and scans, and instead explores how the nervous system, experience, and meaning shape ongoing symptoms.
There’s no requirement to be certain or “ready.”
Simply noticing that something isn’t working anymore is often enough to begin.
What working together looks like
I offer unhurried 1:1 consultations for people with persistent or chronic pain.
Our initial session lasts 75 minutes and is designed to give you space to tell your full story — not just your symptoms.
During the session, we will:
Explore how your pain began and how it has changed over time
Look at factors that may be keeping the pain cycle active
Clarify what matters most to you and what you’re hoping for
Begin practical, personalised work to support your recovery
There is no pressure to push through or perform.
The work unfolds at a pace that feels safe, grounded, and sustainable.
What people often take away
People often leave sessions with:
A clearer understanding of their pain
Less fear of their body
A sense of direction, rather than another technique to “get right”
Change can be gradual or, at times, surprisingly quick.
What matters most is understanding, consistency, and support — not forcing progress.
Is this the right next step?
This approach isn’t about fixing you — because you’re not broken.
It may be a good fit if:
You’ve explored other medical or physical treatments
You’re curious about a nervous-system-led understanding of pain
You’d like support that respects your experience and autonomy
It’s also important that working together feels right for both of us.
If you’d like to explore this further
You’re welcome to read more about the persistent pain approach, and to book an appointment if — and when — it feels right for you.
“Persistent pain is often influenced by movements occurring with unconscious conditions, emotions and beliefs, and not by actual physical damage in the tissue experiencing that pain.
